Introducing IntenseDebate

I’ve installed the IntenseDebate plugin to make commenting easier and better across the board. This introduces a number of features, including threading, signing in via OpenID, Facebook, Twitter, or IntenseDebate (although an account with any of these is not required for commenting), enhanced spam protection, comment ratings, e-mail notification for threads and the entire post, the ability to track your own commenting history, and ability to take the discussion from the blog to other fora. The goal is to build a better commenting experience and move the focus from my posts to a more reader centric discussion based one.

So give it a try, and let me how you like the experience.

  1. Thanks for giving IntenseDebate a try. Please let me know if you have any questions. Also, check out our plugins at http://intensedebate.com/plugins .

    • Thank you! I'm a big fan so far and am planning to stick with it. The only issue that I seem to be having is getting ID logins to stick. It's working fine with Facebook and Twitter, but when I log in via ID, and then go to comment or give a thumbs up on your post, it will have logged me out.

Ah, there we go. Thank you!

  3. Just discovering how simple intensedebate is to use. Thanks for posting about it.
