My wonderful friend Anna is spending the month of January in Azerbaijan, organizing a conference for the NATO International School of Azerbaijan, an organization dedicated to research and education on integration and security issues. She is planning to blog her trip, which includes a two-day stop in Istanbul during the New Years Eve holiday before heading on to Baku.
